Check is a father of a young autistic man and has had a long history with IOE. His corporate career has spanned over 40 years with experience in manufacturing, logistics, operations, equipment service and repairs, quality assurance and management. He is now retired and volunteers his time on not for profit organisations including Amaze Inc. Check has served on school council as Treasurer and has also mentored some young people as a basketball coach in Doncaster All Abilities Basketball (DAAB) and is active on social media in advocating for autistic people. His interests outside of his volunteer work is music (currently learning the piano), attending musicals and rock concerts, photography and reading.
