Respite through Recreation – Group based

IOE runs group recreation programs which are not only fun and social but also provide short term respite for all family members.

You can use your funding to join one of our existing programs or create your own group and tailor your own program.

Groups programs are all about getting involved, being active and sharing fun experiences together.

Some of the adult group recreation programs IOE currently offers are:

  • Weekend, day and evening programs

    Take a break from home and enjoy activities and events out and about in the community. Come along on a casual or regular basis and experience all Melbourne has to offer with others who share your interests.

  • Overseas, interstate and intrastate holidays

    Share the support and share memorable experiences. Our supported holidays program makes the world accessible to you.

  • Inclusive community activities

     Play non-competitive sport, join a common interest group or get together socially at one of our regular out-of-hours programs which operate from local community venues.
